"Part of my limited palette “Visitors” series. I've set myself a challenge...to use a limited palette of two or three colours on each painting, and to add any bird or animal that has visited the garden during lockdown!
I adore watching galahs clowning around on the electricity wires. When it rains, they hang upside down, twirling over and over like brightly coloured, slightly inebriated gymnasts.

Reminds me of Leonard Cohen’s lyrics…”Like a bird on the wire, Like a drunk in a midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free”…
